Job Title: Residential HVAC Installer
Pay Scale: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour + Benefits
Work Hours: 7:30am 5:00pm with an hour lunch and overtime as needed.
Primary Job Function: To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high quality and timely job performance.
Reports to: Installer Lead
Required Qualifications:
Must have all Level 1 qualifications in addition to the following:
Level 2 tools
Could obtain a Valid EPA Certification for Level 1 & Level 2
Comfortable installing round and rectangular duct
Able to measure ductwork and install all equipment accessories
Basic understanding of more complex sheet metal fittings
Can complete production homes unsupervised and on budget
Good customer service ability
Some Knowledge of North Carolina Mechanical and Electrical Codes Could complete simple low voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners with minor supervision
Must be able to communicate with supervisors, builders and other trades
Maintain builder and sub contractors relations
Ability to complete all necessary paperwork
Able to complete and follow through on change orders
Some Familiarity with Brazing line sets
Could obtain a universal refrigeration license within 6 months
Test line sets
Able to supervise entry level employees
Ability to obtain NATE Certification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
