We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team.
As an RVT, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional veterinary care to our animal patients.

Responsibilities:
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Animal Care and Handling:
Assist in restraining and handling animals during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor and record vital signs, observe behavior, and report any abnormalities to the veterinarian.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Medical Procedures and Diagnostics:
Prepare and assist with surgical procedures, including prepping patients, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care.
Conduct laboratory tests, such as blood work, urinalysis, and microbiological cultures, and accurately record results.
Perform radiographic imaging and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures.
Conduct dental cleanings, extractions, and assist with dental radiography.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Nursing and Patient Care:
Monitor and provide care to hospitalized patients, including administering fluids, medications, and treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Educate clients on animal care, medications, and post-treatment instructions.
Provide compassionate support to clients and their pets during difficult situations, including euthanasia.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Anesthesia and Surgical Support:
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures, including vital signs, fluid administration, and patient response.
Assist the veterinarian with sterile surgical techniques and instrument handling.
Monitor patient recovery and provide appropriate post-operative care.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Facility Maintenance and Inventory Management:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, surgical suites, and equipment.
Stock and maintain inventory of medical supplies, medications, and controlled substances.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for staff, patients, and clients.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited veterinary technology program and current registration as a Veterinary Technician.
Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, procedures, and terminology.
Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and nursing care.
Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and diagnostic procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and staff members.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional record-keeping abilities.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy animals or equipment when necessary.
